For the first time in two decades, the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles will be making an appearance on the arcade platform. The last arcade game released was Turtles in Time which hit arcades way back in 1991. The game will be developed by Raw Thrills, arcade developers who have previously worked on games like H2Overdrive and Batman: The Arcade Game. The four player game will be unveiled at the International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions (IAAPA) and will be distributed across arcades sometime in 2018.

Raw Thrills said in an interview with Arcade Heroes:
“This new version of TMNT is a completely new re-imagining of the brawler concept. There are more moves, more environmental interaction, cool Turtle Power special attacks, voiceover from the entire cast (including Seth Green and others)…it’s really amazing.”
The arcade will feature a massive 55 inch HD screen and will measure about nine feet tall and four and a half feet wide. Additionally, the game is expected to feature additional gameplay characteristics like team up attacks and environmental attacks.
