Games Reviews Trailers

The sequel to 2014’s Divinity: Original SinDivinity: Original Sin II is here and Oh Boy is this game good! The game right now has a score of 94% on Metacritic, 9.6 by IGN and 9/10 on Steam. With only a month since the game’s worldwide release, few critics already consider it to be one of the best role-playing game of all time.

Well if that didn’t convince you of how good this new computer role-playing(CRPG) video game is, you are at the right place. We here at GameReviewed will help you decide if you should go on and grab this game or maybe look somewhere else.

The story begins with you and your friends (if you are not playing solo) being sent off to the island prison of Fort Joy with Source-blocking collars around your necks. As the game progresses you and your friends learn that you are Godwoken, demigods who have a chance to replace the seven gods under threat. Your character soon realizes he has a greater purpose much of this is tied to his past role of serving Lucian whose legacy has been taken up by his son Alexander, who now leads the Magisters.

The story isn’t just lengthy though; it’s detailed and captivating, mostly because of the fact that it manages to avoid the same old good vs evil fantasy common to most standard RPGs. Players can expect to spend around 90-100 hours if they want to complete most the main quests and side quests.

Players need to select their character’s race, origin at the start of the game. The five races that can be chosen from include humans and dwarves–with the offbeat–elves who consume body parts, and anxious undead who hide their faces to avoid scaring NPCs. As mentioned earlier players can play with or against their friends who will assist them or fight them in multiplayer mode. The players can even manipulate environment depending on their character’s backstory.  Character depth is tremendous, and with every hero in the game comes with a wide range of core attributes plus civil abilities, combat abilities, skills, talents, Source abilities, and more.

Even though any character you choose at the start of the game comes with a unique storyline you can customize everything. What I really like about the game is unlike other standard RPG, in addition to the standard classes you can choose from there are more innovative options such as Metamorphs and Shadowblades, and a few more with their own unique capabilities.

Well if you like how the game plays and the story mode interests you go ahead and buy the game you won’t be disappointed. We’ve also added a video to help you know everything before you decide to play the game.

The game came out on 14 September 2017 and is available for Microsoft Windows on Steam.
